Horses with the Lilac Farms and New Horizons (abbreviated NW_HRZNS) suffixes can be found from coast to coast throughout North America, including the United States, Mexico and Canada. New Horizons horses offered for sale are from the best bloodlines in the Haflinger breed. Young horses receive age-appropriate training, are handled daily, and shown extensively. We believe in giving our young horses time to grow and mature--both physically and mentally. We begin ground driving and long-lining our horses when they are two years of age, and usually wait until they are three years old before beginning professional under saddle and/or driving training.
If you purchase a young horse from New Horizons and would like to have it shown but are unable to do so yourself, we offer a program for our customers and clients. Along with offering reduced board for horses that are purchased from us, we will show weanlings for free throughout their weanling year (no board charges through 6 months of age), and will show older horses purchased from us for a reduced rate. We can also provide references upon request, from past customers who have purchased horses from us and from clients who have had us show horses for them. Clients who purchase weanlings out of our stallion, Stellar TVR, are eligible for cash back money awards if they win their class at the National Show or National Futurity.
