SILVER Classified and inspected (AHR), 78 points, in 2005

ROSIE'S OFFSPRING WON 1ST PLACE PRODUCE OF DAM AT THE 2011 BCHP DRESSAGE SPORT HORSE BREED SHOW IN PENNSYLVANIA, the 2011 KILE HAFLINGER BREED SHOW IN PENNSYLVANIA, THE 201O AHR NATIONAL SHOW IN OHIO AND THE 2010 KILE SHOW IN PENNSYLVANIA!!

(b. 2.2.00) Nobleman of Tudor Oaks x Radiant Rose NTF (Afghan III NTF). A multi-champion at halter and performance, as well as winner of the 2001 Tudor Oaks Farm Breeders' Award of Excellence (Division II), our foundation mare, "Rosie" is an exceptional mare with beauty, size (14.2 3/4 H), refinement, clean bone, and a flowing snow white mane and tail.

This PREMIER broodmare is by the Star stallion, Nobleman of Tudor Oaks, an Austrian import who was sold to a breeder in Holland after the 2000 World Show. Nobleman won 3rd place in his class at the 1995 World Show in Ebbs, Austria, and was 1996 HRNA National Grand Champion Stallion and Best of Show. Tall and regal, Nobleman stood at 15.1+H. His noble character and presence shine through in Rosie. Rosie's gorgeous head and soft, kind eye draw attention wherever she goes. Rosie is out of one of the strongest mare lines in the Haflinger breed, going back to one of the greatest producing mares in North America--Rosie NTF--a Dutch import. At Rosie's inspection she tied for the 3rd highest score in the U.S. of all horses inspected that year. This places her in the top 10% of Haflingers inspected world-wide.

In her first year of showing dressage in fall 2006, after only 30 days dressage training, Rosie took home the blue ribbon in intro. level suitability, second place in intro level test B, and was Reserve High Point Champion at intro level (missing champion by 1%) at the Battle Creek Equestrian Center Schooling Show in early September. A few weeks later at the American Haflinger Registry National Show she was High Point Champion/High Percentage Champion at intro level, winning first place at BOTH introductory level Test A and B!

Rosie has also proven herself to be an exceptional producer, following the other great producing mares on her dam's side. ALL of Rosie's foals are champions at halter, and ALL of her offspring that are old enough to be shown in performance have been champions under saddle in a variety of disciplines, including: dressage, English, western, starter eventing trials, and hunter under saddle! Her offspring have brought home champion and first place honors at the AHR National Show, AHR National Futurity, USDF DSHB National All-Breed Awards, and Haflinger Challenge Top Five Awards, to name a few!! (Check the RESULTS page of our website for detailed results on the winnings of Rosie and her offspring.) Rosie's foals are known for their size, outstanding trainability, rideability, exemplary work ethic, desire to please, and clean, refined bone which they inherited from their dam, and for their outstanding movement and correct conformation, with long legs, long, and long, high set necks passed on by their sires. Rosie's consistently throws offspring taller than herself, with most of them maturing to 14.3-15H. Several of Rosie's offspring are currently excelling under saddle with professionals, amateurs, and children, in USDF/USEF rated dressage shows, in open hunter/jumper shows, and in breed shows. Her first colt, Antonio Rose of Lilac Farms, has been Reserve Champion time and time again with his young rider in the hunter and English rings, and is also excelling in dressage, western pleasure and games!

Rosie's first foal, Antonio Rose of Lilac Farms, b. 1.2.04, by the German imported stallion, Alois.

Rosie has had four exceptional fillies sired by the SUPREME stallion Arno van het Nieshof. Her 2005 filly, Romantique of Lilac Farms, is SILVER classified and consistently wins top honors in halter classes throughout the country, and excels in performance venues under saddle with first and numerous second place wins in dressage, English and western pleasure classes at shows throughout the Midwest and East coast! Rosie's 2007 filly, Reahna of Lilac Farms, also SILVER classified, followed in her sister's footsteps and made her mark in the show ring, winning Grand Champion Filly (three-year-old and younger) at the 2010 BCHP USDF rated Dressage Sport Horse Breed Show in Pennsylvania, then going on to win first place under saddle in the intro dressage suitability class at the 2010 New York Gold Classic Haflinger Show under BOTH judges! Reahna also ribboned against the warmbloods in 2011 at Dressage at Devon in the four-year-old suitability class! Rosie's 2008 filly, Rosina of New Horizons, (Zeena) was GOLD classified in 2011 at three years of age! As a weanling, Zeena won 1st place weanling filly at the 2008 KILE (PA) show and was named Reserve Champion Junior Pleasure Mare in a very competitive class against other weanlings, yearlings and two-year-olds! Rosie's 2011 filly, Radiance of New Horizons, (aka "Chela") made her show debut at the AHR Futurity in fall 2011. She placed fifth in a very competitive junior weanling pleasure class, and eleventh (out of 24!) in a huge, extremely competitive SIP class, which included some of the top weanling fillies, colts and geldings in the country--and she was one of the youngest (and therefore one of the smallest) weanlings there! Radiance of New Horizons is available for sale to an approved show home. Rosie's offspring consistently come out on top in group classes as well, including first place wins in Produce-of-Dam classes at open rated shows and breed shows, including: 2011 BCHP Dressage Sport Horse Breed Show, 2010 AHR National Show, 2010 KILE Show, and the 2008 AHR National Show. All siblings consistently have excellent head and neck sets, length of leg and neck, clean, refined bone, exceptional type, and outstanding movement.

Rosie had a very elegant colt out of Arno--the first colt out of this cross!--on April 16 2010, Arturo of New Horizons. Arturo is a tall, leggy, typey colt with a wonderful temperament and a friendly, inquisitive nature.

With four exceptional fillies out of this amazing cross, we are extremely pleased that Arturo turned out to be as spectacular as his big sisters, bringing home numerous first place wins in 2010, including: National Champion weanling pleasure stallion, National Futurity first place junior weanling pleasure stallion, Haflinger Challenge Reserve Champion Weanling Pleasure Stallion, and first place at the New York Gold Haflinger Classic! Arturo has incredible presence and expression, and outstanding movement. He sold to a family in Mexico in 2011 as a future dressage prospect for their young daughter, and their trainers are extremely happy with Arturo's excellent movement and willing, sociable temperament!

On April 24, 2012 Rosie had a beautiful, leggy filly by our amazing young silver classified Austrian imported stallion, Stellar TVR, and we could not be more pleased! Ressonance of New Horizons,(aka "Ria") is very typey, has a beautiful dished head with a full blaze, and legs almost as long as her mom's! Photos coming soon!
