Since Stellar's first foal crop in 2012, he has produced outstanding offspring that have exceeded our expectations! We strictly limited Stellar's breeding to only a few mares in his early years to focus on his show schedule and training. While we have expanded his book slightly, he is still only offered to a limited number of approved mares--both Haflinger and Warmblood/Thoroughbred/Sport Ponies--each season. Stellar is an excellent choice for breeder's looking to improve the hindquarter, strengthen the loin and back of a longer-backed mare, add more athleticism, and provide more powerful movement from behind. He would also be an excellent stallion for breeders looking to add a little more substance to a very refined mare, and to improve the temperament of a hotter mare. We would not recommend Stellar as a cross for heavy-boned, older style mares. He crosses especially well with mares by A-line stallions, especially those that go back to liz. Afghan. Stellar is currently in full-time dressage training with Tracy Rowe at Rowe Stables in Okemos, Michigan. We are bringing Stellar along slowly, with our ultimate goal down the road being to take him to Grand Prix eventually.
Stellar's offspring are inheriting his strong loin connection, strong hindquarter, powerful movement, wonderful temperament, and correct conformation with beautiful heads. They have won and placed at the top of their classes on-the-line in a variety of venues, including USDF rated dressage sport horse breeding classes, USDF DSHB All-Breeds National Awards, and at their RPSI inspections, including 100% Premium foals, with four Gold Premiums and three high Silver Premiums, three Champion foals, and a mare approved for breeding through both AHR (high Silver classified) and RPSI (Mare Book I).
We invite you to check out Stellar's foals, listed below from the most recent to his very first foal crop, and to visit their individual pages for more information and photos. We try to keep their individual pages updated as the years go by and their new owners send us new photos and updates.
2016 was the year of the colts! We bred Stellar to Rendezvous of Genesis before selling her in foal to friends of ours in 2015. Rhonda foaled a gorgeous, upheaded colt, Struttin My Stuff (6.28.16) who has all the makings of a very special stallion prospect. Strut is owned by Eva and Dale Sellers, Indiana.
After three fillies in 2016, Stellar gave us three colts in 2016! State of the Art New Horizons (b. 6.25.16) out of our AHR Supreme/RPSI Book I mare, R Noble Rose APF, was sold inutero. A full sibling to Ressonance and Rock My World, Stately was awarded GOLD PREMIUM status at his RPSI inspection with an overall score of 8.0 and was high scoring foal, and placed fourth ahead of his brothers in the very competitive AHR National Futurity junior weanling class! Stately is owned by Martha and George Gugel, New Jersey.
Standing Ovation New Horizons (b. 6/23/16) was sold inutero and is out of our AHR silver classified/RPSI Premium mare, Ricola DTA. Powerful and athletic like his full siblings, Rafinja and Rivendell, Stanlely received a high Silver Premium at his RPSI inspection with an overall score of 7.8. Unfortunately, Stanley was too nervous to show off his movement, but he put on an outstanding demonstration when he got home! Stanley is owned by Marcy Segel, Connecticut.
Stellar's first colt of 2016 was bred and owned by one of our clients. Stately Affair (b. 4/17/16) was awarded a Silver Premium at his RPSI inspection as a foal. He is out of the Avanti of Cedar Lane daughter, Santa Monica of Cedar Lane. He is owned by Karen Barnard, Virginia.

Rock My World New Horizons (b. 5/11/15) out of our AHR Supreme/RPSI Book I mare, R Noble Rose APF, was not offered for sale inutero, as we plan to keep her. Maya was awarded GOLD PREMIUM status at her RPSI inspection with an overall score of 8.0 as a foal, and placed in the top ten out of thirty foals in the very competitive AHR SIP National Futurity class as a weanling!
Rivendell of New Horizons (b. 5/18/15) was sold inutero and is out of our AHR silver classified/RPSI Premium mare, Ricola DTA. Powerful and athletic like her full sibling, Rafinja, she also followed in her footsteps by receiving GOLD PREMIUM status at her RPSI inspection with an overall score of 8.2 (and an 8.4 for conformation/breed type), and by winning Inspection site CHAMPION foal overall out of nine foals, including Warmblood and sport pony foals! Rivy is owned by Stephanie Lesperance, Michigan.
The youngest filly of 2015, Morenci of New Horizons (b. 6/12/15) was sold inutero and is out of our outstanding moving AHR silver classified mare, Mythical TOF. Stellar's 2014 filly, Rafinja of New Horizons (b. 4.18.14) sold inutero to Minnesota a few months after her dam was bred, and is out of our AHR silver classified/RPSI PREMIUM mare, Ricola DTA. Rafinja has outstanding conformation, with a beautiful head and eye, powerful hindquarter, long legs, and wonderful temperament! At the 2014 RPSI inspection in Michigan Rafinja was awarded GOLD PREMIUM status with an overall score of 8.1, and was Inspection Site Champion Pony Filly! We were very excited to purchase Raffy back as a coming three-year-old, and can't wait to see what her future performing and breeding careers hold!
Stellar's 2014 colt, Stravinksy of New Horizons (aka "Fiddler" b. 4.26.14) is out of our National Grand Champion GOLD classified mare, Poetry in Motion VHH. "Fiddler" was also sold inutero, and is a powerfully built colt with great substance, an outstanding hindquarter, beautiful head, and brave and willing attitude! He is owned by Eva Kaze, Indiana.
